Over the ten years that I've been coaching, I have provided just one level of service, and that has worked well.  That program is The Complete Cycle™ Classic (C3) program

Methodology

To do my best work allowing you to achieve your best results, we need to:

  • Build an annual plan based on your goals.
  • Break that down into smaller elements (periods - the basis of periodization), and set goals for those periods.
  • Break those periods down into smaller blocks - typically 4-7 week blocks. Each week and day of the block will have goals and workouts to support those goals.
  • You do the training and keep track of your workouts in your training log.

This is the basic backbone of the Complete Cycle™ Training Program.

If you need periodic input and changes to your program to suit an active life, then the Complete Cycle™ Classic program is for you.

Look; I've had a demanding career, family, etc., and I know how to work things around the issues that will surely come up. I plan workouts using pacing (swimming and running i.e. min/mile or meters/min), power meters, heart rate, etc. You don't have to worry about upgrading your program (read this as increased cost to you) to take advantage of new technology. I stay on the cutting edge of science, and your program reflects that, as well as taking into account your comfort with this technology. Teaching you how to use new technologies is a part of your program. I really believe that we need to meet periodically to discuss your progress and make mid-course changes, alter goals, etc.
